Gaia Gaibazzi

Biography

After obtaining the diploma with the highest grade in 2015 in Genoa, she graduated 2017 in the Master Music Performance and 2019 in the Master in Music Pedagogy at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in Zurich. Her concert activity has led her to perform in prestigious european concert halls (Philarmonie de Paris, Victoria Hall, Tonhalle Zurich, Philarmonie Luxembourg, Casa da Musica, Teatro Carlo Felice and Teatro dal Verme), currently collaborating with numerous orchestras (Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini, Giraud Ensemble, with which she just released a CD for SONY Classics, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana) and important conductors as Riccardo Muti, Wayne Marshall, Dennis Russel Davies, Pierre-Andrè Valade, Zsolt Nagy. She also won three first prizes in the ZHdK Contemporary Music Competition and in the Klang & Gloria competition. Active in chamber music, she is part of ensemble, that are playing in important musical seasons (GOG Spring Concerts, Festival Mito Milan, Lange Nacht der Musik Zürich, Tage für Neue Musik Zürich, Prélude Konzert Tonhalle Zürich, Alexander Arutiunian International Wind Festival, FIMU and Wind Festival in Novara). She collaborates and records contemporary and film music with composers from Zurich.
