Moonlight

Gloria Campaner's recital dedicated to the moon and the night combines the dreamy debussian visions taken from Images and the Suite Bergamasque to the Notturno di Respighi, a composer of great value who brought European orchestral language into Italian music. Beethoven's Sonata op.27 n.2 "Quasi una Fantasia" owes the subtitle of "Moonlight" to the poet Rellstab, where the grandiose op.57, which the composer considered his best Sonata, was so nicknamed for the obvious passion present in the external movements, barely contained by a solid form that allows Beethoven to unleash an impetus  until then unknown in music.
